You have been counting down for 47 days to your birthday. Every single morning we would all get the updated time frame that your special day was arriving. On special days a whole menu is chosen by the individual we are celebrating. Jazlyn, you rewrote your menu at least 4 times before settling on what the fine course meals would be.
Last night at bedtime you were super giddy. The smile was so big that it lit up the room in the dark. It took forever for you to fall asleep. We were surprised that this morning you bounced out of bed so early and ready to take the day on. Normally, you like to cuddle down in the blankets for a bit longer. The sweet morning hug and the patter of what the day will hold was music to our ears.
Our wish for you sweet darling is that you never lose the sense of sweetness that you have. That your fierce spirit keeps questioning everything (even when at times it drives mommy crazy). That you laughter and smile always stays contagious. When someone is grumpy it is hard to stay that way around you. We love you sweet, darling Jazlyn Rose.
